Difference
Fundraising is one of the very important work areas that any nonprofit has to undertake as it is these funds raised which support all other programs. AARDA receives no support from any governmental agency and must rely on its own fund-raising efforts to support its research, education, awarness and support programs.
We are proud to say that our management and fundraising expenses are under 10 percent of our income. We depend on volunteers to raise the funds needed. many grassroots fund-raising efforts are conducted by volunteers who have an autoimmune disease or a family member with one.

2009 EL541 Bike Tour |
| |

Sunday, September 20, 2009 is THE DATE for the Third Annual EL541 Covered Bridge Bike Tour--5 Historic Bridges--41 Scenic Miles in the Willamette Valley in Scio, Oregon.
 This is the third year for this wonderfully scenic bike tour through the countryside of the Willamette Valley. The 41 miles bike tour features five historic covered bridges, lunch, and maybe even a rope swing or two. Start time is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Registration fees are $20 by August 22, 2009. CFC, or Combined Federal Campaign, is the payroll deduction plan for charity that's used by all federal government workers. Every federal employee selects from a large list the charity to which he/she wants his or her donation to go. If you are (or if you know) a federal worker, we hope that you'll choose, or ask the worker to choose, the Autoimmune Diseases Association at pledge time this fall. Our CFC number is 10548. |

Annual Victorian Tea |

Join us on the day before Mother's Day in May of 2009 11:30-2:30 at the lovely Dearborn Inn in Dearborn, Michigan for our annual Victorian Tea. A tea lunch, entertainment, raffle and a silent auction will provide a wonderful way to honor your Mom, Sister, Favorite Aunt or Special Friend. Watch for further information.
